Health Care Assistant (nights)

The current rate of pay for this role is £8.55 per hour

We currently have a vacancy in our care team for a Health Care Assistant to join our Night team on a full time, permanent basis.

The rate of pay for this position is currently £8.55 per hour and will involve working night shifts (20:00 - 08:00) on a set Rota over a two week pattern. 

The purpose of this role is to provide high standards of care to all residents at all times as directed by, and under the supervision of the Unit Manager.

The successful candidate must;
• Be enthusiastic
• Have good communication and organisational skills
• Be a team player
• Have the ability to work on their own initiative
• Be friendly, creative and confident
• Have a genuine interest in working with the people with Learning Difficulties
• Have life skills
• Be able to promote independence
• Undertake a satisfactory DBS check.
• Have a flexible approach towards working routines


Croft Care Trust is committed to safeguarding adults. Therefore if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Enhanced check: £54.00 + Administration cost of £4.00 deduction from wage

Health Care Assistant (Days)

The current rate of pay for this role is £8.55 per hour.

We currently have a vacancy for a Full time Health Care Assistant in our Nursing Home.

This position will involve working an average of 37.5 hours per week over a two week rota.

Shifts will primarily include working 3 "long days" per week, however day carers are expected to provide sickness and holiday cover for night shifts so the role will include the occasional night shift. 

The purpose of this role is to provide high standards of care to all residents at all times as directed by, and under the supervision of the Unit Manager.
