Staff Nurse

We currently have a vacancy for a Staff Nurse (RGN, RNLD, RNMH) to join our Nursing Home Team. All levels of experience will be considered for this role, however you must have or be awaiting an NMC pin number.

This is a full time, permanent position and will primarily include working day shifts (07:30 - 20:30), however day staff are expected to provide occasional sickness and holiday cover for night shifts (20:00 - 08:00).

Hours worked between 08:30 & 18:00 are paid at £16.50 per hour

Hours worked between 18:00 & 08:30 are paid at £17.50 per hour

In addition to the hourly rate we also offer:

  • Time & a Half for bank holidays &;
  • Reimbursement of yearly NMC registration fees &;
  • 7% Pension contribution &;
  • CPD & training Funded &;
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum.

Therefore, if the post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended) the successful candidate(s) will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Enhanced check: £52.00 + Administration cost of £4.00 = deduction from salary as one-off payment or £11.00 deduction from first fortnights pay, followed by 3 payments of £15.00

Kitchen Assistant

The current rate of pay for this role is £8.25 per hour

Due to retirement we currently have vacancies for 2 part time kitchen assistants to join our catering team on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the Kitchen undertaking cleaning, stock rotation and with the preparation of the residents meals.  

This role will involve working an average of 17.5 hours per week over a 2 week rota. Shifts begin at 13:30 and end at 18:30.
